I’m in absolute awe right now because of Celia Aaron’s ability to create an ever-changing twisted landscape. and they leave you stunned, shocked, speechless. and riveting revelations that emotionally impact on the characters. The multi-layered chapters hold secrets, darkness, suspense, tension. She slowly leads you up, around and through a minefield of secrets and then drip-feeds you earth-shattering reveals to just some of your questions whilst concealing and holding back on so many more. This is Book 2 in the Acquisitions Trilogy and it’s every bit as twisted, as gripping and as compelling as book1 because this creative author certainly knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat with all the tension-filled undertones and intense interactions between her strong cast of characters.

Robyn Verne and Stephen Dexter were outstanding with the delivery of the story I hope you can enjoy this book as much as I did. Celia Aaron is an author to watch she is amazing and I will be listening all that I can from her. I was able to put myself there and I think that makes reading this book so great. Celia Aaron is a wonderful story teller and I could picture the whole book while I was reading it. I will definitely be re-reading this series. I felt as if I was there with them through out the unfolding of the story.

I was invested in the characters from the first book and just as invested in them in this book as well. She kept me guessing on what was going to happen next. Celia Aaron has a way with words that are like no other author I have ever listened to. It has some dark twists but I was sucked in to the characters and what happens to them. This is different style of book but I love it. This is the 2nd book in Celia Aaron's Acquisition Series.
